Baccius – Colli Maceratesi Ribona DOC

13,50

Its alluring bright straw-yellow colour opens up to a nose of intense and fine scents of pear, yellow plum, passion fruit and a corollary of sweet flowers.
Well-balanced to the taste between warmth and freshness with a pleasant flavour, it extends with intensity, persistence and then great finesse and harmony.

Product sheet

An intricate weave between territory and passion is this wine dedicated to Andrea Bacci, born in Le Marche in the 16th century, archiater of Sixtus V and author of the first important work on winemaking in the modern age:“De Naturali Vinorum Historia de Vinis Italiae” 1596.
The work is a meticulous study of hundreds of grape varieties with descriptions of the wines that derive from them. It is the first attempt in history to classify the extraordinary richness of Italy’s local grape varieties.
